ReserveCalc is a software application from the Federal Reserve that allows staff at financial institutions to view reserve maintenance information from a desktop computer. ReserveCalc connects institutions to the Federal Reserve through the Internet, which provides access to your reserves data around the clock, 365 days a year. Instead of waiting for scheduled reports, staff can access ReserveCalc anytime.

ReserveCalc provides all the information in your current reserve requirement and position reports. It also allows you to drill down into the report items for comprehensive information. You can view detailed as-of adjustments data, close-of-business account balances and your reservable liabilities—calculated from your weekly or quarterly FR 2900 report—that form the basis of your reserve requirement and ongoing position management.
Please refer to the Requirements and Enrollment sections below for information on how to set up or modify access to the application.
To access Reserve Administration in ReserveCalc, you must:
Before you can begin using ReserveCalc you must apply for a credential for the FedLine Web® access solution or modify an existing credential you already have. To get started:
EUAC forms must be printed out, completed, signed and original paper versions mailed to the appropriate Customer Contact Center indicated on the EUAC form. If you already have a credential for the FedLine Web access solution, just modify it by filling out the Subscriber Request Form and indicating the individual(s) you want to add for ReserveCalc. After submission, you will receive a reference number and authorization code to download your credential and access ReserveCalc.
Proper authorization is required. Click the button below to access the ReserveCalc application.
An additional feature of ReserveCalc is the Balance Calculator, which helps you calculate the balances you need to hold each day to achieve a zero net position. It updates automatically every day after your close-of-business account balance has been recorded and as-of adjustments processed by the Reserve Bank. The Balance Calculator considers all reserve maintenance tools available to you, including carryover and the clearing balance band. It is also an interactive decision making tool. You can enter estimated future account balances to determine your net position under different scenarios, or you can calculate the effect of an anticipated as-of adjustment on your required balances.
Please contact your Reporting and Reserves District Contact with questions about ReserveCalc. For assistance with setting up access to the ReserveCalc application, contact the Federal Reserve’s Customer Contact Center.
