FedACH® Services

Reminder - Discontinuation of the FedPhone® access solution, effective September 30, 2012

August 15, 2012

With the discontinuation of the FedPhone access solution, FedACH® Services return item processing and notifications of change (NOC) transactions will need to be accomplished via the FedLine Web® access solution.

If your organization relies on the FedPhone access solution for either or both of these purposes, to help ensure no disruption in functionality, you need to take steps now to begin performing these functions via the FedLine Web access solution instead of via the FedPhone access solution. The Federal Reserve Banks have created a resource center detailing the steps your organization should take now to prepare for this change.

As of the September 30, 2012 service discontinuation date, the FedACH Participant Directory will no longer be available via the FedPhone access solution. This information will continue to be available through the E-Payments Routing Directory of FedACH participant Receiving Depository Financial Institutions (RDFIs) on FRBservices.org and the Search for Customer query in the Customer Profiles section of FedACH Services via the FedLine Web access solution.

If you would like additional information, please contact the Customer Contact Center, your FedACH Central Operations Support (COS) site or your account executive. You can locate contact information specific to your organization by entering its ABA number into My FedDirectory®.
