Flashboard - Announcements

  • New FedReceipt® RTNs for FedForward® and FedReturn® Services deposits will be published the week of July 8, 2013. These lists will reflect changes to the FedReceipt lists that have occurred between June 1 and June 30, 2013. For more information, please visit the Check 21-Enabled Services Endpoint Tier Listings, where you can review the May 31, 2013 Summary of Changes to FedReceipt Routing Numbers (XLS).
  • Security Features in the Redesigned $100 Note — The redesigned $100 note, which will be issued on October 8, 2013, includes two new security features, the 3-D Security Ribbon and the Bell in the Inkwell.
  • FedACH® Feature: The FedACH FedPayments® Reporter Service can help your institution provide payment information to its health care providers. The Remittance Advice Detail Report carries the most detailed information about the payment. The Receiver Setup Report can be used to help identify which health care providers are receiving health care payments. Sample reports (PDF) and the FedPayments Reporter Service page provide more information.
  • Reminder - Effective June 3, 2013, the processing of all Federal Government Automated Clearing House (ACH) reclamations for Treasury-disbursed payments (non-DFAS) is handled by the Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service’s Philadelphia Financial Center. If you have any questions related to this transition, please contact Lisa Andre, Accredited Automated Clearing House Professional (AAP) at (855) 868-0151 or Lisa.Andre@fms.treas.gov.
  • Effective July 25, 2013, the Federal Reserve Banks are amending Operating Circular 9 (OC 9), Federal Tax Payments and Treasury Tax & Loan Depositaries, and are retiring Operating Circular 8 (OC 8), Collateral.
  • The Federal Reserve Banks currently contact customers via telephone in cases of rejected FedACH® files and batches. As these calls duplicate the information already available via the FedLine® access solutions, we will discontinue this practice effective August 5, 2013, in an effort to streamline operations.

Please contact your FedACH Central Operations Support Site at (866) 234-5681 with any questions.

  • Reminder - As announced (PDF), the Federal Reserve Banks will be making changes to the requirements and edits associated with the Paid Item (PAID) investigation type (ITYP). These changes will not become effective until sometime during the second half of 2013. An updated Computer Interface Protocol Specifications (CIPS) document reflecting these changes is posted in the Support Center of FedLine® Home. Requests to submit and receive test files can be made through Check Customer Support at (877) FRB-CHKS or (877) 372-2457.
  • The Enterprise Accounting System (EASy) production implementation is tentatively scheduled to take place in the fourth quarter of 2013. Implementation of EASy will result in enhancements to Accounting Information Services, including the AMI application, and intra-day and end-of-day Account Services reports.

If you have any questions, locate your Account Services Customer Support Contact in the MyFedDirectory® Service.
