Events and Education

Our educational curriculum contains a mix of events, formats and dates. Just take your pick!

September 2011

September is often associated with returning back to school. Though it may be sad to see another summer come to an end, it is also exciting to be inspired about learning.  As fall approaches, it is a great time to strengthen your professional skills or increase knowledge on a particular subject. The Federal Reserve Banks offer a variety of events to demonstrate how our services can provide value to your organization and help you streamline your operations.

Our educational curriculum is continually modified to offer not only the tried and true events that have been on our calendar for some time, but also new events designed to meet your changing needs. Below, we are focusing on our popular and well attended check adjustments webinar series, newly added training sessions featuring our FedEDI® Plus and FedACH Risk® Services, our FedCompleteSM Packages, and a new Financial Services on-demand webcast series that is currently under development.

Today’s robust technology makes it easier than ever to offer both live teleseminars and on-demand webcasts, coupled with online registration, that enables you to select the session you want to attend, the format and dates that best suits your schedule.

Popular check adjustments webinars continue as a mainstay on our events calendar

Since 2007, the Federal Reserve Banks’ check adjustments webinars have helped customers maximize the benefits of our services. These sessions provide a rich, interactive learning experience and are facilitated by knowledgeable Federal Reserve staff.  The five standard sessions listed below are designed to offer practical information that can be applied immediately.

  • Basic Principles and Concepts of Check 21 Adjustments
  • Basic Principles and Concepts of Endorsements and Not Our Items (NOIs)
  • Basic Principles and Concepts of FedLine Web® and Documents to Follow
  • Basic Principles and Concepts of Forward and Return Check Adjustments
  • Check Adjustments Insights into Investigation Types (ITYPs)

If you are unsure which session to attend, our "Check Adjustments Resources" event may be a good place to start. This free, one-hour session allows you to experience the webinar environment, while providing information regarding our adjustments resources and priced check adjustment webinars. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions to determine which of our webinars best meets your training needs.
