2011 Presidents’ Day Holiday Instructions

The Federal Reserve Bank will be closed on Monday, February 21, 2011 for the President’s Day Holiday.  Please refer to the instructions listed for your local office below.

Cash Holiday Instructions

First District

Boston

If your normal delivery day is Monday, Feb 21 you will not receive your cash order prior to the holiday. If you need cash for the holiday, please order extra on the previous week.

If your normal delivery day is Tuesday, Feb 22 or Wednesday, Feb 23 place your cash order one day earlier than your normal order day.

New York

Orders placed on Friday, February 18 before the 2pm deadline will be available for armored carrier pickup from the Federal Reserve Bank of NY on Tuesday, February 22.

Please contact your armored carrier to determine how delivery will be affected by this holiday, and adjust your order dates accordingly.

Attention cash order users! This message is in reference to the upcoming Holiday. The Federal Reserve Bank will be closed on Monday, February 21, in observance of President’s Day Holiday. If your currency and coin orders are normally picked up at the Federal Reserve on Monday, February 21, the alternate pick up day is scheduled for Friday, February 18, before the holiday. If you normally place your order on Friday, for Monday pick up, your order must be placed before your deadline on Thursday, February 17. If you normally place your order on Monday, for Tuesday pick up, you must place your order before your deadline on Friday, February 18.

Cash orders that would normally be picked up from the Federal Reserve Bank by your carrier on Monday, February 21, will need to be placed no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 17. These orders will be available for carrier pick-up on Friday, February 18.
