Treasury Changes in Presidential $1 Coin Program (PDF)
For Presidential $1 Coins, and only these coins, the Federal Reserve Banks offer a special order period during which depository institutions (DIs) can order unmixed quantities of the current release in boxes containing $1,000 worth of wrapped $25 rolls. If you want to order $2,000 bags of loose Presidential $1 Coin or $2,000 bags of circulated coin, contact your local Federal Reserve office to place a special request order. For more information on the ordering process, visit our special five -week order period page. Orders will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis until available inventories are depleted.
Consumers interested in purchasing specific coins should contact their depository institution or visit the U.S. Mint Web site.
