FedACH® SameDay Service

This service accomplishes processing, editing, distributing, and settling of select ACH forward payments during the current processing day and applies to converted check payments (ARC, BOC, POP, and RCK) as well as TEL and WEB debit payments.

FedACH SameDay Service may be utilized by FedACH customers only and is available on an opt-in basis for Originating Depository Financial Institutions (ODFIs) and Receiving Depository Financial Institutions (RDFIs). Opt-in status may be changed monthly.

FedACH SameDay Service Processing Schedule (all times Eastern)

  • Forward items may be sent between 2:15 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
  • Items received by 2:00 p.m. will settle at 5:00 p.m.
  • Returns of forward items may be sent between 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
  • Items received by 4:30 p.m. will settle at 5:30 p.m.
