Dynamic Investments allows a participating financial institution to receive Treasury funds throughout the day into its Treasury Investment Program (TIP) Main Account based upon its current capacity level. Capacity is based on current information including collateral value, balance limit and your Main Account balance. The Treasury may begin dynamic investing at noon ET and may invest hourly until 5:00 p.m. ET. The Treasury may elect to stop Dynamic Investment at any time during the business day. These funds are held in the participating financial institution's Main Account for an undetermined period of time.
At periodic intervals throughout each business day, TIP initiates the Dynamic Investment process. Dynamic Investments increase your Main Account balance and credit your or your correspondent’s Reserve account. Like Direct Investments, Treasury may withdraw the funds from the institution’s Main Account balance.
