2017 Memorial Day Holiday Instructions

Cash Holiday Instructions

The Federal Reserve Bank will be closed on Monday, May 29, 2017 for the Memorial Day Holiday. Please refer to the instructions listed for your local office below.

First District

Boston

Please remember to place all orders prior to the Noon deadline. Orders place by the order deadline on any weekday other than the holiday will be available for shipment on the following business day.

Please contact your armored carrier to determine how delivery will be affected by the holiday and adjust your order dates accordingly.


Second District

New York

Orders placed on Friday, May 26, 2017 before 1:00 p.m. ET will be available for armored carrier pickup from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Orders placed on Friday, May 26, 2017 after 1:00 p.m. ET will be available for armored carrier pickup on Wednesday, May 31, 2017.

Please contact your armored carrier to determine how delivery will be affected by this holiday, and adjust your order dates accordingly.


Third District

Philadelphia

Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Columbus, Louisville

Cash orders that would normally be picked up from the Federal Reserve Bank by your carrier on Monday, May 29, 2017 will need to be placed no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017. These orders will be available for carrier pick-up on Friday, May 26, 2017.

You may wish to confirm your delivery date with your carrier.
