2023 Labor Day Holiday Instructions

Cash Holiday Instructions

The Federal Reserve Bank will be closed on Monday, September 4, 2023, for the Labor Day Holiday.

Please refer to the instructions listed for your local office below.

First District

Boston

Please remember to place all orders prior to the Noon deadline. Orders placed by the order deadline on any weekday other than the holiday will be available for shipment on the following business day.

Please contact your armored carrier to determine how delivery will be affected by the holiday and adjust your order dates accordingly.

Second District

New York

Orders placed on Friday, September 1, 2023, before 12:00pm ET will be available for armored carrier pickup from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Orders placed on Friday, September 1, 2023, after 12:00pm ET will be available for armored carrier pickup on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

Please contact your armored carrier to determine how delivery will be affected by this holiday and adjust your order dates accordingly.

Third District

Philadelphia
