FedCash® Services: Resuming UCAP Fee Calculation

April 9, 2020

As announced on March 24, the Federal Reserve waived Uniform Cash Access Policy (UCAP) fees from Monday, March 16 through Friday, April 3 to support our customers’ operational needs regarding cash management as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. After careful assessment of deposit and order trends, the Federal Reserve resumed UCAP billing April 6.

Depository institutions are charged a $35 fee per deposit or order access that exceeds the basic level of free service. You will be able to review the weekly billing charges in your April billing statement released in early May.

For more detailed information about UCAP, please refer to the Federal Register announcement (PDF), Uniform Cash Access Policy brochure (PDF), or UCAP Customer Q&As.
