The Federal Reserve Banks previously announced plans to modernize the platform used to support FedACH processing services. In recent months, extensive internal and external customer testing has been performed to ensure operational readiness of the new platform. As we prepare the system for the migration to the new platform, a freeze period is being implemented for production FedACH Services changes. The freeze period will run from January 5 through February 12, 2021. The modernized platform will be implemented on January 29, 2021.
Key dates to remember for the freeze are:
- January 4, 2021: This is the last day for production FedACH implementations and changes.
- February 16, 2021: The window re-opens for production FedACH implementations and changes.
Please note that customers will be able to test during these production freeze windows. If you have questions, please contact FedACH and Check Services Customer Support.
It has been our goal to ensure our platform migration is seamless and customer changes are minimal. A summary of changes can be found on the FedACH Platform Modernization Resource Center.
