Announcing FedACH® platform modernization implementation on January 29

The Federal Reserve Banks previously announced plans to modernize the platform used to support FedACH processing services. The modernized platform will be implemented on January 29.

As we transition to the new platform, our production schedule will be modified for the cutover. This will allow us to begin ingesting production files and performing additional validations on the new platform. On Friday, January 29, origination file processing and file acknowledgements will be delayed during the following approximate timeframes:

  • 2:16 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. ET
  • 10:31 a.m. - 12 p.m. ET

During these timeframes, FedACH customers may continue to deposit files, but acknowledgements will be delayed. Please do not send duplicate files during these windows. The acknowledgements for these files will begin to generate at the end of the time periods noted above. Distribution of outbound files, advices and balance reports will occur at normal scheduled delivery times.

It is our goal to ensure our platform migration is seamless and customer changes are minimal. A summary of changes can be found on the FedACH Platform Modernization Resource Center.

We value the trust you place in the Federal Reserve Banks and continually strive to meet your needs for secure and reliable payments services. Please reach out to a member of our FedACH and Check Services Customer Support staff with any questions about these changes.
