It is now easier to explore and manage your institution’s FedACH® activity, discover trends more quickly and make data-driven decisions. The FedPayments Insights Service is designed to help inform your operational, risk management and strategic decision-making. You can easily interact with and review daily and historical trends.

Which companies are the largest contributors to my financial institution’s origination or receipt activity?

The ACH Payments Trends report in FedPayments Insights allows you to drill down to an Originator Summary report by day or month for the entries that your financial institution has originated or received through FedACH for the previous two years. With filters and sorting options, this report can provide insights into competitive activity and measure shifts in your institution’s origination activity. Hyperlinks allow you to view the underlying transactions by customer.

How does my corporate customer’s origination activity compare to established exposure limits?

The ACH Payment Trends report in FedPayments Insights allows you to track activity for a particular originator. This report can help you can compare your corporate customer’s actual origination volumes against exposure limits or expected activity.

Is my financial institution experiencing shifts in a specific SEC code?

The ACH Payment Trends report in FedPayments Insights allows you to track origination or receipt activity over time across your financial institution, including for one or multiple SEC codes. You could use this reporting to see how your WEB (Internet Initiated/Mobile Entry SEC code) or other ACH activity has changed over time and how it compares to externally reported industry statistics.

The FedPayments Insights Service, accessible through FedLine Web® and FedLine Advantage® Solutions, can help your institution gain valuable knowledge about your ACH payment trends and behavior. Six years of your institution’s ACH data is accessible immediately upon activation. Multiple visualization options with drill-down capabilities make data more accessible and provide a means to extract useful operational and business value. Many reports have the option to download the results to Microsoft Excel®-compatible data files for additional analysis.

Review Operating Circular 4, Automated Clearing House, Appendix F4: FedPayments Insights Service, prior to submitting Part 6G (PDF) of the FedACH Participation Agreement to the location listed on the form.

For current FedLine® Solutions customers, an End User Authorization Contact (EUAC) with authority to manage access for FedACH Services should submit a Subscriber request via the EUAC Center within FedLine Home to grant new subscribers access or modify current subscribers' access to include the FedPayments Insights Service. Otherwise, the organization must first submit an EUAC Form (PDF) to authorize its EUAC to manage access for FedACH Services.
