Setup Steps to Access Survey Central
- Who in my organization should be engaged in obtaining access to the Survey Central portal?
Respondents must be invited to join any survey conducted by the Federal Reserve, and participation may be subject to approval prior to access provisioning. To set up users with access to the Survey Central portal, an organization must respond to an invitation by identifying the individual(s) who will need to access Survey Central for reporting survey responses with the Federal Reserve.
Once those individuals have been identified, organizations can send their information to start the profile provisioning process for multi-factor authorization. Please provide the Survey Central Technical Support Contact with the following information for each profile:
- First and last name of the user
- Business email address of the user
- Name of the application (Survey Central)
Upon receipt of this information, the Survey Central Technical Support Contact will create a profile for each individual. Once the profile has been created, the user will receive an email link to finish setting up his/her multi-factor authentication profile, which includes setting up a password. Within the link, individuals can adjust their profile settings to include a phone number to receive a multi-factor authentication code via text message instead of through email.
- How do I access the Survey Central portal?
Individuals will access the Survey Central portal to submit survey data. Access to the portal is on the Survey Central Secure Logon page.
Once the Secure Login button is clicked, a new window will open asking for your username and password. Your username is the email address you provided to your Survey Central Technical Support Contact. After the username and password have been provided, a second window will ask to confirm your authorization code as part of the multi-factor authorization. The authorization code will be sent via an email or text message depending on how you configured your profile settings during your profile creation.
Please note that you will not be able to access the surveys until they have been made available within the Survey Central application.
