Services and products to support the FedNow® Service

PCBB supports financial institutions in adopting and operationalizing the FedNow Service by providing the settlement and liquidity infrastructure required for real-time payments. Transactions settle in the institution’s demand deposit account (DDA) at PCBB, enabling 24×7 availability of funds and supporting continuous payment activity. Financial institutions select and manage their own front-end applications to initiate and receive FedNow Service transactions. PCBB’s role is to integrate with the FedNow Service and facilitate real-time settlement, while providing access to account activity and reporting through its cash management platform. This allows institutions to monitor transactions, manage liquidity, and support reconciliation processes.

Reporting is available in formats that can be downloaded and incorporated into the institution’s internal systems, including core platforms, as needed. This supports operational workflows and downstream processing. PCBB’s services are designed to support financial institution staff responsible for payments, operations and liquidity management. By handling settlement and account servicing, PCBB enables institutions to focus on delivering real-time payment capabilities to their business and retail customers through their chosen technology providers.
