Fedwire Funds Service Upcoming Releases
November 2026 updates
Effective Nov. 16, 2026, a subset of Fedwire Funds Service customers will be impacted by the removal of the “None” verification option from within the FedPayments® Manager – Funds application via the FedLine Advantage® Solution. Impacted customers have been contacted with next steps to prepare.
November 2027 release
The next ISO 20022 release for the Fedwire Funds Service will occur on Nov. 22, 2027.

- We highly recommend that all customers, service providers and software vendors plan ahead and prepare to complete testing to ensure readiness (refer to November 2027 Testing Requirements).

- We will continue to provide more resources in the coming months to help your institution prepare. Additional information about testing will be communicated as it becomes available.
Plans for 2028
For planning purposes, FRFS does not plan to deliver an ISO 20022-related release for the Fedwire Funds Service in 2028. This is intended to give customers time to prepare for other enhancements, including expanding Fedwire Funds Service and National Settlement Service operating days (Sunday through Friday, including holidays).
