Step 1: Designate Authorized Individuals

We've Mapped Out the Entire Process

Your organization should designate authorized individuals to establish your organization's authority to engage in business with the Federal Reserve and to ensure that instructions are accepted only from those individuals that you authorize for your organization.

NOTE: You may want to consider submitting the forms in Step 1 and 2 together to an authorized individual so that the forms can be signed and submitted at the same time.

Organizations with an ABA# – Follow these Steps Below

Organizations that do not have a Non-Account Holder Certificate of Resolution and Official Authorization List (OAL) on file with the Federal Reserve Bank should complete the forms below:

After the successful completion of Step 1 above, proceed to Step 2 to establish EUACs for your organization.

Organizations with a CIN# – Follow these Steps Below

After the successful completion of Step 1 above, proceed to Step 2 to establish EUACs for your organization.

Organizations that do not have a Federal Reserve Bank Reporting Central FedLine Access Authorization List (Authorization List) on file with the Federal Reserve Bank should complete the form below:

  • Consult the Instructions (PDF) to complete and submit the Federal Reserve Bank Reporting Central FedLine Access Authorization List (PDF) form as soon as possible. This document serves as confirmation of your organization's authority to establish an electronic connection with the Federal Reserve Banks and identifies the individuals who have the authority to take actions that bind your organization as they relate to your use of the electronic connection to submit reports and other data to the Federal Reserve Banks. The individuals identified on the Authorization List will be able to transact business related to the Reporting Central and/or Structure Central function and provide instructions to the Reserve Banks related to the use of FedLine Solutions, and must be authorized to agree to the electronic access terms and conditions contained in Operating Circular 5. It is not necessary to list all of the individuals who will be contacting or dealing with the Reserve Banks on the Authorization List, but it is important that you identify at least one or two individuals who are authorized by the Authorization List to transition business for the Reporting Central and/or Structure Central function. The Authorization List must be signed by an "authorizing officer" and must be signed by the company's secretary (or assistant secretary), notarized and mailed to: Support Center, P.O. Box 219416, Kansas City, MO 64121-9416.
  • If you have questions about the Authorization List, please contact the Support Center.

After the successful completion of Step 1 above, proceed to Step 2 to establish EUACs for your organization.
