Testing now available for enhancements to the FedImage® Retrieval Services, FedImage Explorer

Previously announced enhancements to the FedImage Archive Services, via the FedLine Web® Solution, are now available in the customer testing center. Testing will be available starting August 15th through September 8th. These improvements to the interface will allow for augmented search and viewing capabilities.
The improvements include:
- A new viewer with more flexible searching capabilities of the archived check items and improved on-screen images to better view the details
- Immediate access to all archived images eliminating delayed retrievals of older items via mailbox
- Ability to print or email a PDF consisting of an image or group of images locally
Testing is available anytime Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. Each FedImage user is strongly encouraged to confirm their ability to log in and become familiar with the new search and viewing capabilities:
- Log into your FedLine® Solution and navigate to the “Announcements” section
- The FedImage message includes links to the testing environment and to the FedImage Explorer User Guide
- Once you are connected to the Check-Customer Test environment, select “Image on Demand” option
- This will launch the new FedImage Explorer search screen
The list below provides you with information on the sample of synthetic test images1 that are available for you to query. To assist you with the navigation options, you can access the help option on the viewer and/or review the FedImage Explorer User Guide in the FedLine Training area.
For those users that currently derive returns from their archived items, such capability has also been enabled within the viewer. Please review the user guide to assist you with becoming familiar with the process to initiate a Return Image Cash letter (ICLR) with specific items and submission of that ICLR for processing.
