FedPayments® Insights Service helps your institution understand competitor activity

The FedPayments Insights Service helps your institution analyze its FedACH® activity, discover trends more quickly and make data-driven decisions. Now, new features make it easier to view your received ACH data and analyze how other financial institutions and their originators impact your institution.

Which companies or financial institutions are debiting my financial institution’s customers?

The ACH Payments Trends report in FedPayments Insights allows you to drill down to an Originator Summary report by day or month for FedACH payments your financial institution originated or received during the previous two years. This Originator Summary report now allows you to view activity by Originator Name, which groups a company’s multiple Originator IDs for a more complete picture of their total impact. Similarly, the report can be grouped by Originator ID, consolidating for analysis multiple Originator Names used by a single organization (e.g., a property management company). Hyperlinks allow you to view the underlying transactions by customer.

How is my competitor’s transaction activity trending at my financial institution?

The ACH Payment Trends report in FedPayments Insights now allows you to filter your search for another company’s Originator ID, allowing you to view competitors’ received activity over time. You can drill down to transaction-level account details and dollar amounts. Results can be downloaded to Microsoft Excel®-compatible data files for additional analysis.
